Josh Duhamel To Play New Coach in THE MIGHTY DUCKS: GAME CHANGERS Season 2

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Moved Production from Vancouver to L.A. for Season 2.

Will The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers be back for another season of hockey in Vancouver now that they’ve found their season 2 coach in Josh Duhamel?

Or is this another Disney+ series that has left Vancouver.

Josh Duhamel’s new coach will be former NHL player Gary Cole, who runs the summer hockey institute the youth players go to.

Season 2 continues without Coach Bombay after Emilio Estevez departed last November over what the studio said was his refusal to comply with new Covid vaccine requirements and what he said was his bad experience with long haul Covid during season one, as well as creative differences.

Where did we leave the new team of misfits?

After 12-year-old Evan Morrow (Brady Noon) was cut from the now powerhouse Mighty Ducks in Minnesota, he and his Mom, Alex (Lauren Graham) built their own team of misfits — the Don’t Bothers –and with the help of washed-up Coach Bombay (Emilio Estevez) got all the way to the state championship.. Sadly the Don’t Bothers had to forfeit due to injury but managed to defeat the Mighty Ducks in an unsanctioned game and win back the moniker Mighty Ducks.

Cast: Lauren Graham, Josh Duhamel, Brady Noon, Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Luke Islam, Kiefer O’Reilly, Taegen Burns, Bella Higginbotham and DJ Watts.

Creator: Steve Brill who wrote all 3 movies in the Mighty Ducks trilogy.

Showrunners: Cathy Yuspa and Josh Goldsmith.

Season One filming locations:

The Ice Palace exterior in New Westminster.

Pacific Forum as The Minnesota Igloo.

Could Mighty Ducks OGs Joshua Jackson’s Charlie Conway and Kenan Thompson’s Russ Tyler make cameos in season 2?
