JUSTICE U, a CW Series in Development, Would Star David Ramsey as Diggle & 5 Young Meta-Humans
Revised and updated:
Justice U, a new series in development at The CW., would star David Ramsey as his Arrow character John Diggle overseeing the training of five young meta humans.
When Arrow ended in early 2020, the series finale teased a Green Lantern ring in John Diggle’s future.
Since then Ramsey has guest-starred in and directed several episodes of Arrowverse shows including another guest appearance as John Diggle on tomorrow night’s Batwoman.
On Batwoman, Luke Fox gives Diggle back the box that glowed green in the Arrow season finale, saying he couldn’t get the “transmatter cube” open using Bat tech. Neither could Argus, Diggle replies.
How did you get it open last time? — Luke Fox.
That’s the problem. I didn’t do anything. It just opened for me. – Diggle.
So maybe the key to opening that box isn’t based on science, human or otherwise. Maybe it’s based on something else entirely. — Luke Fox.
Has it stopped opening because Diggle didn’t accept the Green Lantern offer?
This season, David Ramsey also directed next week’s Superman & Lois.
Justice U comes from Superman & Louis co-exec producer Michael Narducci.
What’s Justice U about?
After years of fighting alongside masked heroes, Diggle embarks on a new mission to recruit five young meta humans to live undercover as freshmen at a prestigious university. There he will oversee their education and train them to become the heroes of tomorrow.
If a pilot is ordered, David Ramsey will direct.
