Netflix Video Store Comedy BLOCKBUSTER Adds 5 Cast in Vancouver
Netflix video store comedy Blockbuster has added cast — Tyler Alvarez, Madeleine Arthur and Olga Merediz as series regulars and JB Smoove, and Kamai Fairburn as recurring.
In a world of perpetually available on-demand content, a group of nostalgic workers and their small-town community come together to try to save the last Blockbuster Video store in the world.
Fresh Off the Boat’s Randall Park is the manager of the video store and Brooklyn Nine Nine’s Melissa Fumero is his #2..
Filming dates: February 28th to May 2nd, 2022.

Cast: Randall Park, Melissa Fumero, Tyler Alvarez, Madeleine Arthur, Olga Merediz as series regulars plus JB Smoove, Kamai Fairburn recurring.
Randall Park is Timmy, manager of the Blockbuster store.
Melissa Fumero is Eliza, Timmy’s #2 at the store.
Tyler lvarez is Carlos, the son of immigrants and an aspiring filmmaker works in the store.
Madeleine Arthur is Hannah, whose mother died when she was young so her Blockbuster co-workers are her family.
Olga Merediz is Connie, a mother figure to Blockbuster co-workers and many of the regular customers.
JB Smoove is Timmy’s best friend Percy who owns the strip mall and a party store.
Kamai Fairburn is Percy’s teen daughter who works in the Blockbuster store.
