Is Jensen Ackles Back on a Vancouver Set For Josh Duhamel’s BUDDY GAMES 2?
Ever since Jensen Ackles told a Supernatural fan convention in Toronto on Sunday that he was flying west on Monday to do a movie, the rumours have swirled that he’s here in Vancouver for Buddy Games 2.

Jensen Ackles is best known for his role as Dean Winchester on Supernatural which filmed for 15 seasons in metro Vancouver and for his recent star turn as Soldier Boy on season 3 of The Boys.

Jensen Ackles has been spotted on set in Vancouver. A local actor tried not to fangirl him yesterday, but didn’t say what production or where.
Is he reprising his character Jack Durfy from the original Buddy Games?

In the sequel there’s a funeral for one of their own.
Buddy Games 2 picks up with Bobfather (Josh Duhamel) and the guys following the death of one of their own, as they take an unexpected journey to commemorate his life. After they make the snap decision to steal the urn and flee his funeral, they make their way to the place where the Buddy Games tradition began. Once there, things go south when they accidentally find themselves in the middle of Spring Break.

The original Buddy Games movie was about a group of friends who got together after a 5-year break to play a bunch of crazy physical and mental challenges to lift their friend Shelly (Dan Bakkedahl) out of depression, win a $150,000 prize and almost kill each other in the process.
Josh Duhamel plays Buddy Games organizer/financier Bobfather (#5); Kevin Dillon is chiropractor Doc (#2); James Roday Rodriguez is Zane (#6), Dan Bakkedahl is Shelly (#4) and Nick Swarsdon is Bender (#1)
Dax Shepard was Durfy (#3) in the original movie, brother to Jensen Ackles’s character.
