Yellowjackets starts filming season 2 in metro Vancouver with Misty x 2. Misty is one of the Core Four survivors of a wilderness plane crash.
Yellowjackets is about a group of survivors from a girls’ high-school soccer team who 25 years ago were stranded deep in the wilderness after a plane crash and forced to go feral to survive.
In season 2, two more adult survivors — Lauren Ambrose as adult Van and Simone Kessell as adult Lottie — plus Elijah Woods as a citizen detective will be foils for the Core Four:: Melanie Lynskey as adult Shauna, Christina Ricci as adult Misty, Tawny Cypress as adult Taissa. and Juliette Lewis as adult Natalie.
Filming dates: August 30 2022 – February 17 2023.

What can we expect in season 2?
Yellowjackets ended season one with winter coming and the ostracized Jackie (Ella Purnell) freezing to death outside. Plus in a foreshadowing of the pilot’s Antler Queen and her cult’s ritualistic cannibal scene, we watched young Lottie (Courtney Eaton) place a bear’s heart at a forest altar, flanked by young Misty and Van (Liv Hewson)

Showrunners have dubbed season 2 as The Winter of Their Discontent and plan to get creative with their winter storyline and make it as winter-heavy as they can which shouldn’t be hard in a BC Fall.
Showrunners also promise we will find out who is blackmailing the Yellowjackets in present day.
Filming in Vancouver:
Season One filmed in metro Vancouver in the summer last year from early May to late September and was spotted on location at the iconic 2400 Motel on Kingsway in Vancouver and on the grounds of Panther Paintball in Surrey.
