Riverdale is back in the 1950s of the OG Archie Comics in its final season, with Cole Sprouse’s Jughead maybe the only one who remembers life before the timeline changed.

We were debating on what the final beats of [the finale] would be and torn between a very big swing and a quieter ending. And it definitely emboldened us to go for the big swing for Season 7. It’s really exciting. — Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa on the news that season 7 would be Riverdale’s last.
