Two women disappear. One white. One native. One woman’s life is valued more than another’s on tonight’s Alaska Daily Fall Finale with Hilary Swank and BC’s own Grace Dove.

When two local women go missing, Roz (BC’s own Grace Dove) grows frustrated over the lack of equal attention both cases are receiving. Stanley (Jeff Perry) agrees to have the team write a comparison piece on the two missing girls. Meanwhile, Bob gives Roz and Eileen (Hilary Swank) a lead on Gloria’s case. And after they appear on local radio show Concerned Citizens,’threats escalate to perilous new heights.

Eileen confronts the Governor of Alaska.

For the past three months, Alaska Daily has been filming this new series in metro Vancouver about a big city journalist Eileen Fitzgerald (Hilary Swank) looking into missing, and murdered indigenous women cases, in partnership with local reporter Roz Friendly ((Secwépemc native Grace Dove).

She learns that there’s more to a cold case of an abducted teen and perhaps nefarious reasons why the police and courts haven’t pursued it.
