ABC Passes on Vancouver-Shot Pilot THE HURT UNIT With Ben McKenzie
ABC passed on Vancouver-filmed pilot The Hurt Unit, with Ben McKenzie and Melissa George .and three other pilots today. (The Good Doctor’s Vancouver-shot spinoff The Good Lawyer with Kennedy McMann remains in play with the network.)
The Hurt Unit followed a highly skilled team of trauma surgeons and nurses who race into the field to treat the patients who won’t make it to the hospital in time.
Ben McKenzie played Dr. Danny Marsh, head of the elite Hurt Unit at Nashville’s City South Hospital.
Melissa George played a hospital administrator who got into epic clashes with Dr.Danny Marsh.

The pilot started filming February 21st in Vancouver and wrapped in mid-March.
