BC-Filmed Season 2 Finale of CRUEL SUMMER Had Big 1999 Scenes in Cloverdale

Freeform’s hit mystery series Cruel Summer had big 1999 scenes filmed in Cloverdale of Megan (Sadie Stanely) handing out missing-person posters around Chatham after Luke (Griffin Gluck)’s disappearance for its season 2 finale.

Set in the idyllic waterfront town of Chatham in the Pacific Northwest, the second chapter of Cruel Summer follows the rise and fall of an intense teenage friendship. 

Approaching the story from three different timelines surrounding Y2K, the season twists and turns as it tracks the early friendship between Megan (Sadie Stanley), Isabella LaRue (Lexi Underwood) and Megan’s best friend Luke (Griffin Gluck), the love triangle that blossomed, and the mystery that would impact all of their lives going forward..
