Jesse L. Martin is back solving crimes on NBC this Fall.
The Law & Order vet stars in the new Vancouver-shot investigative thriller The Irrational, which premieres Monday September 25th, on NBC after The Voice.
Alec Mercer (Jesse L Martin). a world-renowned professor of behavioral science, lends his expertise to an array of high-stakes cases involving governments, law enforcement, and corporations with his unique and unexpected approach to understanding human behavior.
Jesse L. Martin is comfortable working in Vancouver, after spending nine seasons filming in the city as Barry Allen’s foster father and then father-in-law Joe West on The Flash.
Production on The Irrational started early in the Spring to get ahead of the Writers Guild of America strike on May 2nd and continued with so-called “locked scripts” until the SAG-AFTRA guild joined the writers in a Double Strike on July 14th. Season One has 7 completed episodes so far, with three left to be filmed.
