Vancouver stunt coordinator Simon Burnett’s biggest fight sequence in Prime’s slasher-comedy Totally Killer has Julie Bowen’s Pam fighting the Sweet 16 Killer in her own home.

Totally Killer director Nahnatchka Khan worked with Simon Burnett’s “amazing stunt team” and Julie Bowen to make this first fight sequence “very close with [Pam]. I wanted it to feel handheld, like you can sense the danger more” she told Salon.
At first, Pam’s death seems inevitable but after she’s run down the hall and called the police, she turns to face the killer and says: : “I’ve been preparing to fight for my life for 35 years.”
“Julie was a legend. She did all of her own stunts. The only thing she didn’t want to do is be thrown through the coffee table and thrown onto the marble countertop. But everything else is all her ,” Nahnatchka Khan told Salon
Like mother, like daughter. It’s this traumatic home invasion that sends Kiernan Shipka’s Jamie back into the past to hunt down the Sweet 16 Killer.
After her mother (Julie Bowen) is murdered on Halloween, rebellious teenager Jamie (Kiernan Shipka) travels back in time to 1987 where she must stop the would-be Sweet 16 killer with the help of her teen Mom (Olivia Holt) and get back to her rightful time line before she’s trapped in the past forever.
