One of Netflix’s Biggest Shows GINNY & GEORGIA Is Filming Season 3 This Spring in Ontario

It’s time to break Georgia out of prison — again.

Daughter-mother drama Ginny & Georgia, with almost one billion hours viewed of both seasons from January to June, topped Netflix’s most watched titles in the first half of 2023.

Free-spirited Georgia (Brianne Howey) and her two kids, Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Austin (Diesel La Torraca), move north to an affluent town in Massachusetts in search of a fresh start but find that the road to new beginnings can be bumpy.

Season 2 debuted on January 5th and amassed 665.1 million hours viewed while season 1 racked up 301.2 million more hours for a total 967.2 million hours viewed from January to June.

Ginny & Georgia season 3 starts prep in Toronto this February and is expected to start filming this Spring .

Where did we leave Ginny & Georgia at the end of season 2?

Georgia had her fairytale wedding to Mayor Paul Randolph (Scott Porter).

But as the newlyweds danced at their reception, Georgia was arrested for murder for suffocating a comatose man with a pillow to spare his family from further suffering.

This was not the first time Georgia had killed someone for seemingly good reasons. She poisoned two of her ex-husbands: Anthony Greene, who owned the hotel that employed the teen Mom when Ginny was a baby and Kenny, after he got lecherous with Ginny. And she almost shot Austin’s Dad Gil but instead framed him for embezzlement and put him in jail. Gil’s release and his blackmailing of Georgia had her ready to run again until Ginny persuaded her to confess (some but not all of her crimes) to Paul.
