Justin Hartley’s TRACKER Debuts to 18+ Million on CBS After Super Bowl

Justin Hartley’s BC-filmed Tracker series debuted to an average of 18.4 million viewers on CBS following Super Bowl LVII. That number should increase when streaming viewership is added in.

The Super Bowl itself ranks as the most-watched U.S. telecast in history with an average of 123.4 million Americans across several platforms, thanks to the Kansas City Chiefs’s third championship win in five years and to a Taylor Swift bump of new viewers. — who tuned in to see the music phenom cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce, the Chiefs’s tight end.

Adapted from the Jeffrey Dean thriller The Never Game, Tracker follows Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley), a lone-wolf survivalist who roams the country as a reward seeker, using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries while contending with his own fractured family.

The series premiere introduced us to Justin Hartley’s Colter Shaw, a nomadic, good-with-his-fists loner who travels America solving ordinary people’s problems. Colter acquired his Tracker skills growing up with a survivalist father.

And he gets paid enough to own a GMC truck and an Airstream trailer.

Tracker filmed its pilot in BC desert terrain around Kamloops.

And in BC forests on the west coast.

Tracker filmed its pilot in Vancouver in the Fall of 2022 and intended to start shooting the series in the summer of 2023 until the Hollywood writers and actors strikes upended plans.The series didn’t start filming until the end of November last year.

In its first few weeks back, Tracker was spotted out in Belcarra and in Mission in the Fraser Valley, where fan ChefB got to meet the star Justin Hartley.

The series was on location in downtown Vancouver Monday— February 12th — filming in a back alley and at George Wainborn Park. See Events.

Fiona Rene’s Reenie Greene is a lawyer and an ex who can’t quit him.
