Yip Yip! Aang’s Journey Continues.

Netflix renews its BC-filmed live-action adaption of Avatar: The Last Airbender for two more seasons to conclude the saga, mirroring the three-season run of the beloved Nickelodeon anime series.

The story ends with season 3 as the four nations – Air, Water, Earth, Fire – unite “to bring The Legend of Aang to its proper conclusion”.

The live-action show, topped 41 million views in its first 11 days on the global streamer and is likely to ascend to Netflix’s Most Popular list..

The plan is to shoot the next two seasons closely together before the young cast ages out of their characters.

Gordon Cormier, now 14, has been enjoying the promotional tour. Here he is showing off his martial arts and staff skills on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
