Tonight is Tron 3’s 20th night shoot (by my count) in downtown Vancouver.
So why is so much of the action in the third movie in Disney’s Tron franchise happening in a real-world city and not on The Grid?
In Tron 3, Jared Leto stars as an emerging sentient program Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I.
His Ares was spotted on set a month ago at the Bentall 5 tower as ENCOM headquarters .
