The Supernatural star is back as Soldier Boy ahead of the final season of The Boys, which is expected to start production in Toronto this November.
The season 4 finale of The Boys has an end credits scene of an emotional Homelander finding his comatose father in the government facility he was locked away in at the end of season 3.

What else does Jensen Ackles have on his schedule?
He will reprise his role as Justin Hartley’s screen sibling Russell Shaw on season 2 of Tracker in production now in Vancouver.
Then he stars in his own Prime Video thriller Countdown, as an LAPD officer who joins a secret task force of agents to investigate a murder. Countdown is expected to go into production on September 9th in Los Angeles.
