Dolly Lewis and Daniel Gilles reunited in the Sight Unseen season 2 finale last night, which saw the former police partners Tess Avery and Jake Mitchell work undercover to take down a gang and then afterwards embrace on the street below Tess’s apartment.
If only Sight Unseen had ended there. Instead we saw a drive-by shooting with Jake using his body to protect Tess. Will he survive?
There’d better be a season 3.
Nominated for Best Drama Series in the Canadian Screen Awards, CTV’s Sight Unseen is about blind, former homicide detective Tess Avery (Dolly Lewis) solving cases in Vancouver with the help of visual assistance guide Sunny Patel (Agam Darshi) in New York City.
Characters:
Dolly Lewis as Tess Avery – a former homicide detective losing her sight due to a rapid onset eye disease.
Agam Darshi as Sunny Patel — the agoraphobe visual assistance guide who helps Tess navigate her surroundings via GPS and video from 3,000 miles away in NYC.
Sunny had a few breakthroughs of her own in the season 2 finale.
Daniel Gillies as Jake Mitchell — Tess’s former homicide detective partner. They continued to solve crimes together until Jake went undercover partway through season 2.
Jarod Joseph as Tess’s oldest friend, Matt Alleyne, a tech whiz..
