Descendants 5, the next Wonderland spinoff starring Kylie Cantrall and Malia Baker in the Disney musical franchise, is in production in British Columbia.
In Descendants 5, an unexpected villain attempts to harness the magic of Wonderland for their own gain when Wonderland plays host to the Auradon’ Kingdom Cup games. The Queen of Hearts’ daughter Red (Kylie Cantrall) and Cinderella’s daughter Chloe (Malia Baker) must fight the villain to save Wonderland while grappling with the consequences of changing the past in Descendants 4.
After weeks of rehearsals, production has begun on Descendants 5 with Kylie Cantrall as the Queen of Hearts’ daughter Red; Malia Baker as Cinderella’s daughter Chloe; Liamani Segura as Red’s sister Pink; Leonardo Nam as the Mad Hatter’s son Maddox Hatter; Brendon Tremblay as the Mad Hatter’s other son Max Hatter; Kiara Romero as Captain Hook’s daughter Hazel; Alexandro Byrd as Luisa Madrigal’s son Luis Madrigal ;Joel Oulette as Robin Hood’s son Robbie Hood; Zavien Garrett as Dr. Facilier’s son Felix Facilier; and Ryan McEwen and Dayton Paradis as Mr. Smee’s twin sons Squirmy Smee and Squeaky Smee.

The first three Descendants movies starred Sofia Carson as Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen; Dove Cameron as Mal, daughter of Maleficent; the late Cameron Boyce as Carlos, son of Cruella de Vil; , and Booboo Stewart as Jay, son of Jafar.
Kennie Ortega directed all three, which filmed in various Vancouver locations and in Victoria as the Kingdom of Auradon.
Production moved to Georgia, USA for the first Wonderland spinoff — Descendants 4: The Rise of Red, which saw Red (Kylie Cantrall). the daughter of the villainous Queen of Hearts team up with Chloe (Malia Baker), the daughter of Cinderella and Prince Charming, to travel back in time to prevent a catastrophic event.
