Disney showed footage of Tron: Ares today at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
Joachim Rønning directed the third movie in the Tron franchise, which turned downtown Vancouver into a real-life grid last year for six weeks of night shoots with light cycles speeding through the city streets.
Tron: Ares stars Jared Leto as an emerging sentient program Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I.
