Sunday, May 5th – Red Widow finale The Hit 1×08 Convinced that Schiller (Goran Visnjic) murdered her husband, Marta (Radha Mitchell) asks for help with a revenge plot. But it turns out Schiller didn’t make her a widow. Her own father did because he didn’t want to lose his grandkids. Unfortunately no one tells Natalie (Erin Moriarty) who pulls a gun on Schiller in the final scene of the finale filmed at the Guiness Tower downtown last year.
Sunday, May 5th – Continuum 2×03 Vancouver-cop-from-the-future Kiera (Rachel Nichols) investigates a new street drug she recognizes because her sister was hooked on it in the future. The scenes of Kiera finding her sister in a shanty town for the “emancipated” were filmed on a parkade rooftop in Gastown. In present day, Alec Sandler (Erik Knudsen)’s friends drop the drug on the CBC Plaza and rival Liber8 operatives and former lovers Sonya and Travis go to war using gangs as their weapons.
Sunday, May 5th – Once Upon a Time 2×21 Young Baelfire (Dylan Schmid) is befriended by the Darling family of Peter Pan fame. Grownup Baelfire/Neal (Michael Raymond-James) intervenes in his father (Robert Carlyle)’s attempted stomping of Dr. Whale (David Anders( to impress Lacey (Emilie de Ravin); much needed talk between Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and grownup Baelfire/Neal takes place on Third Beach in Stanley Park, Meanwhile, Greg (Ethan Embry) and Tamara (Sonequa Martin Green) torture Regina (Lana Parilla) in Steveston cannery buildings.
Sunday, May 5th – Feature film Robocop with Joel Kinnaman, which shot last summer in Toronto, films in SFU Woodward’s underground parking and later at Granville and Dunsmuir.
Sunday May 5th – Words and Pictures with Clive Owen and Juliette Binoche scheduled to wrap filming in Vancouver, according to latest B.C. Production List.
Friday, May 3rd – Falling Skies screens first half of its 2-hour premiere at EW’s Capetown Festival in Hollywood, followed by a Q&A with showrunner Remi Aubuchon and cast members Noah Wyle, Moon Bloodgood, Drew Roy and Maxim Knight. Season 3 scoop.

Once Upon a Time

So Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) is escalating his bad behaviour in Storybrooke to woo Belle’s cursed self Lacey (Emilie de Ravin). As I’ve said before, this is not RumBelle. More like The Dark One and the Tramp. How nasty will it get? An ABC.com preview of the first eight minutes of next Sunday’s penultimate episode shows us. The scene below opens with Dr. Whale (David Anders) on the ground outside The Rabbit Hole. looking up at the sole Mr. Gold’s boot. Whale’s crime: “You stared at her and I know how you think,” Mr. Gold pronounces as Lacey giggles, dressed in her signature barfly style of short dress, fishnets and heels.

It looks like Mr. Gold will give Dr. Whale a good stomping until Baelfire/Neal grabs his father from behind.

Sunday, April 28th – Vancouver cop-from-the -future series Continuum 2×02 airs on Showcase. Some of it filmed in Squamish with Rachel Nichols in a big helicopter scene. New York Times’s Neil Genzlinger wrote about his Squamish set visit in TV article praising the series.
Sunday, April 28th – Red Widow 1×07 The Coke airs on ABC. Marta (Radha Mitchell) learns new information about her husband’s killer. Photos of one of the deaths filmed in Downtown Eastside alley.
Sunday, April 28th – Once Upon a Time 2×20 The Evil Queen airs on ABC. Hook pretends to help Regina (Lana Parilla) with a plan to transport her and Henry (Jared Padalecki) back to Fairytale land. Big scene of Regina talking to Henry filmed in Steveston. And in flashbacks, the Evil Queen gets Rumplestiltskin to transform her into a peasant so she can kill Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin). Village scenes were filmed in Robert Burnaby Park in Burnaby in front of visiting #EvilRegals fans (one from Mozambique). Look for opening scene of The Dark one (Robert Carlyle) & The Tramp (Emilie de Ravin) staggering out of the “Rabbit Hole” pub in Steveston too.
Sunday, April 28th – Latest buzz from Deadline’s Primetime Pilot Panic says Wonderland (Once Upon a Time spinoff) “penciled in” and Big Thunder a “major contender” at ABC; I Am a Victor with John Stamos has a shot at NBC; Human with Karl Urban”still solid” at FOX; Intelligence with Josh Holloway and Backstrom with Rainn Wilson in the mix at CBS; The 100 still under consideration at The CW but no mention of Blink.

Update April 28 2013. Greg and Tamara hold Hook captive in the clock tower of the Storybrooke Library. To get Hook to help them with their plan they show him Rumplestiltskin is alive and happy coming out of The Rabbit Hole below.

Once Upon a Time set up cameras on the roof of the Storybrooke Public Library in Steveston early this March to film a scene of Mr. Gold in a dark suit and Belle’s cursed self, barfly Lacey in a sequined blue, tight, short, backless dress, stumbling and weaving out of The Rabbit Hole pub, arms round one another. Is this after Mr. Gold beats and rips the tongue out of the Sheriff of Nottingham (Red Widow’s Wil Traval) cursed self Keith to Lacey’s delight? The same tongue which had just been shoved down her throat.

Mr. Gold and Lacey are definitely not RumBelle. More like The Dark One and the Tramp. But fun characters for Robert Carlyle and Emilie de Ravin to play.

Mayor shot at Vancouver Public Library. Kiera meets Carlos (Victor Webster) at Vanier Park with the Burrard Bridge and West End as backdrop. And the crime scene for mayor shot at Vancouver Public Library with Kiera & Carlos on set. Kiera later investigates the kill shot with her head tech and points to the apartment it came from. Kiera and Alec (Erik Knudsen) talk at Vanier Park. And the final VFX by Artifex: a time lapse of sea level rising in English Bay and dam being built while West End skyline changes.
Sunday, April 21st – Once Upon a Time 2×19 Lacey: Father-and-son (Bae & Henry) have play swordfight watched by grandfather Rumplestiltskin, who chooses that moment to tell Regina that Henry is his grandson. Regina takes revenge by turning Belle into her cursed self, the scantily-clad barfly Lacey. Plus unexpected guest star Jorge Garcia back as Anton and introducing Tom Ellis as Robin Hood and Wil Traval as the Sheriff of Nottingham.
Sunday,April 21st – Deadline’s Primetime Pilot Panic: The Latest Buzz gives CBS pilot Intelligence a nod because of its “hunky actor” Josh Holloway & deems CBS pilot Backstrom with Rainn Wilson “a wild card”. Fox pilot Human with Karl Urban is called “strong”. ABC pilot Big Thunder & presentation OnceWonderland have buzz & preliminary good notices because in house. The CW pilot The 100 has lost steam but still in contention, Deadline says. But no mention of NBC pilot I Am Victor with John Stamos or The CW pilot Blink.

Update: “You’re Henry’s grandfather.” – Regina to Rumple

Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) and the Evil Queen/Regina (Lana Parrilla) seem to be on friendlier terms in 2×19 Lacey despite Cora and Regina’s efforts to kill him in The Miller’s Daughter. Of course the actors are real friends with no hard feelings about who tried to kill whom. Once Upon a Time filmed a scene in late February of the two evilish characters walking and talking in the background of Rumple’s son Baelfire/Neal (Michael Raymond-James)’s play swordfight with his son Henry (Jared Gilmore) in Fisherman’s Park.

Once Upon a Time is filming in Steveston for [four] full days for its season two finale — And Straight on ‘Til Morning. Wednesday, March 27th, was Day Two and began with cast — including Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Josh Dallas — on set for an early morning runthrough around 8:30 a.m. in the Kuno Garden at the 75-acre waterfront Garry Point Park, west of the historic village of Steveston. Real-life couple Goodwin and Dallas took a quiet stroll together in the sun after and then headed back to circus while crew set up for the morning scene of Emma and her parents, Charming/David and Snow/Mary Margaret, driving up to the garden in Charming/David’s truck and walking into the Japanese-style memorial garden where the emotional moments took place.
