In this week’s issue, Entertainment Weekly previews the buzzed-about movie adaption of best-selling novel Fifty Shades of Grey starring Jamie Dornan (Once Upon a Time’s Sheriff Graham) and Dakota Johnson. Filming is set to start in Vancouver early in December and casting is underway locally for supporting roles and backgrounders. I am mildly disappointed that Hollywood didn’t pick up on Saturday Night Live’s hilarious spoof casting of Christoph Waltz and Scarlett Johansson (played by Miley Cyrus) as the leads.
Update: Jamie Dornan’s pregnant wife Amelia Warner is expected to give birth in Vancouver in a few weeks.And so she did to a baby girl at the end of November, just before filming started.
