BC-Filmed VIRGIN RIVER Season 5 With Alexandra Breckinridge Drops Part 1 this Fall on Netflix
BC-filmed popular romance Virgin River, starring Alexandra Breckinridge and Martin Henderson, drops Part One of Season 5 this Fall on Netflix.
The first 10 episodes stream on September 7th and two holiday episodes drop November 30th.
Based on the novels by Robyn Carr, Virgin River follows Melinda “Mel” Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge), a nurse and midwife who moves to the small California town from Los Angeles after her husband Mark dies. There she falls for restaurant/bar owner and former marine Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) but their romance can be complicated. Season 4 ended with Mel and Jack in a good place: engaged and expecting a baby.
[Season 5 brings] surprising new relationships, a shocking break-up, a difficult court trial, a heartbreaking goodbye and a wildfire that threatens the town, bringing some people of Virgin River together while tearing others apart.
Issues of motherhood push Mel (Alexandra Breckinridge)] to make a big decision about her future at the clinic while her pregnancy unexpectedly sparks an emotional connection to her past. To further prove himself to Mel, Jack (Martin Henderson) squares off with some long-overdue confrontations — with his own demons, and of course, Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley).
