Code 8: Part II, the reunion we’ve all been waiting for, is here. In a world where 4% of the population are born with abnormal powers and heavily policed by high-tech robotics, an ex-con (Robbie Amell) teams up with the drug lord (Stephen Amell) he despises to protect a young girl (Sirena Gulamgaus) escape from a corrupt police sergeant (Alex Mallari Jr.).
Code 8 is a collaboration of the cousins filmed in their hometown of Toronto.
The first one was fan-made (more than $2 million in crowdfunding) and picked up by Netflix.
The second one was made by Netflix (studio budget) and got a big promotional push.
The Code 8: Part II duo appeared at Fan Expo Vancouver on February 17th.

And that night a Code 8: Part II teaser played on the jumbotron at the Vancouver Canucks game.
And then in New York City’s Times Square.
And a billboard appeared in downtown Toronto.
