BC-Filmed FINAL DESTINATION: BLOODLINES in Theatres

It’s coming for us because we were never supposed to exist.

Final Destination: Bloodlines starts in 1968 at the opening of a Space Needle-style attraction called the Sky View, played partly by the Vancouver Planetarium and Museum of Vancouver last Spring.

You can see the 1960s era vehicles in the parking lot.

Iris (Brec Bassinger) is at the restaurant. She has a premonition of disaster and everyone’s death.

Iris is able to save a lot of lives but almost 50 years later generations of families have been wiped out because they were never supposed to exist. Iris’s descendants are next.

In present day, Iris’s granddaughter Stefani Reyes (Kaitlyn Santa Juana) has a recurring nightmare about dying in the Sky View disaster, but this is actually her grandmother’s premonition.

Stefani teams up with her younger brother Charlie (Teo Briones), cousins Erik, Bobby and Julia (Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore) and estranged mother Darlene (Rya Kihlstedt) to figure out what’s going on.

Iris’s grandchildren are about to find out that Death is persistent.

What’s a Final Destination movie about?:

A character has a premonition of a horrific and deadly event, cheats their own death, and saves several other lives in the process, only to have Death, as a personified but unstoppable force, come for the survivors one by one.

What’s Final Destination: Bloodlines about?

Just as she’s about to leave home for college, 18 year old Stefani, who’s been having horrific nightmares about dying in a accident in the 1960s, discovers that her dream is actually a premonition that happened to her grandmother, Iris, who thwarted death decades earlier.

Stefanie learns that though her grandmother thwarted Death (until she died in her 80s), Death has been coming after the would-have-been victims of that long-ago catastrophe, killing them off and then going after their children. Stefani and her family realize that their bloodline isn’t safe from Death, who will take them violently and gruesomely, in order, unless someone like Stefani figures out a way to stop it.
