  • Friday, October 5th – Fringe‘s second episode of its final season airs, featuring scenes filmed at UBC as an Observer-controlled Harvard campus in 2036
  • Friday, October 5th – World Premiere of Vancouver-shot Random Acts of Romance, starring Amanada Tapping & Zak Santiago, at VIFF
  • Friday, October 5th – Supernatural films episode eight of its eighth season downtown on the roof of the Lumbermens building & then on Richards Street below with Sam & Dean & Cas and the Impala
  • Friday, October 5th – Once Upon a Time films aboard Hook (Colin O’Donoghue)’s pirate ship on the seas off Steveston.
  • Friday, October 5th – Cult films at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby.
  • Friday, October 5th – IGN’s 1st look behind the scenes at Vancouver-shot Halo 4 web series Forward Unto Dawn shows Daniel Cudmore, SFU, and the BCIT Aerospace campus.
  • Thursday, October 4th – Falling Skies begins a series of night shoots at the Langley Airport after 8 p.m. closing.
  • Thursday, October 4th – Cult‘s Robert Knepper and Alona Tal film scenes from show-within-a-show at the Vancouver Art Gallery
  • Thursday, October 4th – Fringe films episode seven of its final season  at the PNE
  • Thursday, October 4th – EW.com reports Grammy winner Jill Scott cast as oracle-like woman on Fringe.
  • Thursday, October 4th – Psych films its 2-hour musical episode inside the Vancouver Playhouse, an episode which features Barry Bostwick of Rocky Horror Picture Show fame and the return of Ally Sheedy as criminal/serial killer Yang.
  • Thursday, October 4th – TVLine.com gets the scoop on another photo of Stephen “Abs” Amell ahead of next week’s Arrow series premiere on Wednesday night.
  • Thursday, October 4th – Supernatural films episode eight of its eighth season inside a former bank building downtown on West Pender, which crew once turned into a vampire’s nest in season 6.
  • Thursday, October 4th – Supernatural ratings steady in the U.S. on its new Wednesday night home with 1.8 million viewers and a 0.8 demo rating for its season 8 premiere.
  • Wednesday, October 3rd – Supernatural season 8 premieres on The CW, with scenes of Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki filmed at UBC.
  • Wednesday, October 3rd – Fringe films episode seven of its final season in the underground parking garage at the Coal Harbour Community Centre
  • Wednesday, October 3rd – Arrow films in Yaletown’s La Terrazza restaurant.
  • Wednesday, October 3rd – Deadline.com reports Lost’s Nelson Carbonell cast as sinister-seeming sheriff on the Vancouver-shot Psycho prequel Bates Motel
  • Wednseday, October 3rd – EW.com releases exclusive photo of Colin O’Donoghue as Hook on Once Upon a Time. The new series regular won’t appear on screen until October 21st.
  • Wednesday, October 3rd – Syfy picks up rights to broadcast Vancouver dinosaur procedural Primeval: New World in the U.S.
  • Tuesday, October 2nd – Once Upon a Time‘s Belle (Emilie de Ravin), Hook (Colin O’Donoghue), Mulan (Jamie Chung) and Aurora (Sarah Bolger) see Glen Hansard at the Vogue Theatre together but not in costume as their fairy tale characters so they go unrecognized.
  • Tuesday, October 2nd – Kristin Leman as Vancouver detective Angie Snow films Motive at the Olympic Village
  • Tuesday, October 2nd – Arrow films in the Terminal City Ironworks cmpound in east Vancouver for second day.
  • Tuesday, October 2nd – Fringe returns to Hastings & Burrard and then films in the basement of the Electra building for episode seven of its final season.
  • Monday, October 1st – Fringe’s Joshua Jackson dodges Manhattan traffic in downtown Vancouver for episode seven of its final season.
  • Monday, October 1st – Arrow films in the Terminal City Ironworks compound in east Vancouver.
  • Monday, October 1st – Once Upon a Time season two premiere wins Sunday night in the U.S. with 11 million viewers and a 3.8 demo rating. How big a hit is OUAT? Huge.
  • Monday, October 1st – A & E’s Psycho prequel Bates Motel starts filming, starring Freddie Highmore, Vera Farmiga and Nelson Carbonell.
