  • Sunday, August 25th – Cedar Cove 1×07 Free Spirits airs on the W network. Olivia (Andie MacDowell)’ worries about her daughter Justine who’s gone to Alaska to look for Seth after he doesn’t return from fishing. It brings back memories of the death of her son. All of this makes her reluctant to go to Seattle for the weekend with Jack (Dylan Neal).
  • Sunday, August 25th – Day Three of Supernatural‘s Vancouver Convention (#VanCon) features J2, aka Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles (Sam and Dean Winchester) and executive producer Robert Singer. Report from the front row by Sherie/@MartiniHoudini.

  • Friday, August 23rd – Once Upon a Time films Neverland scenes overnight in the quarry at North Vancouver’s Greenwood Park.
  • Friday, August 23rd – Vancouver-cop-from-the-future-series Continuum 2×12 Second Last airs on Syfy in the U.S. Amanda Tapping directs an epic and heartbreaking fight scene on the B.C. Sugar roof with Kiera (Rachel Nichols),Carlos (Victor Webster), Alec (Erik Knudsen) and Emily (Magda Apanowicz)  against the Freelancers.   • Thursday, August 22nd – News that Ben Affleck is cast as Batman in the Man of Steel sequel with Henry Cavill as Superman, which is expected to film in Detroit/Toronto not Vancouver where Man of Steel  was shot.
  • Wednesday, August 21st- Tim Burton’s Big Eyes wraps three days (August 19-21) of filming courtroom showdown between Margaret (Amy Adams) and Walter Keane (Christoph Waltz) in the Vancouver Art Gallery. Fan highlight: the cast and crew photo taken on the north steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery.
  • Wednesday, August 21st – Psych films its Dream Therapy episode on a closed set in Coquitlam off the Lougheed Highway and King Edward overpass.

  • Tuesday, August 20th – The Tomorrow People film Terminal City Ironworks compound in east Vancouver.
  • Tuesday, August 20th – News that Orphan Black’s “Hot Paul”, aka Dylan Bruce, cast on Lifetime’s Flowers in the Attic.
  • Monday, August 19th – Arrow films Oliver and Laurel (Stephen Amell and Katie Cassidy) in Yaletown’s Mary and Lorne Brown Park. Thea Queen (Willa Holland) and Sin (Bex Taylor-Klaus) head to CA$H FOR GUN$t shoot under the Granville Bridge.  Oliver (Stephen Amell) and councilman Sebastian Blood ( Kevin Alejandro) duck from gunfire.
  • Monday, August 19th – Once Upon a Time in Wonderland films in Robert Burnaby Park with Sophie Lowe and Michael Socha on set.
  • Monday, August 19th – Tomorrowland films 1964 New York World’s Fair Greyhound Sightseeing Bus in Yaletown while main unit starts week of filming in Enderby in the north Okanagan.
  • Monday, August 19th – M. Night Shyamalan’s event series Wayward Pines with Matt Dillon, Carla Gugino, Melissa Leo, Toby Jones, Terence Howard, Juliette Lewis and more starts filming in its Burnaby studio. Aggasiz street set still under construction.
  • Monday, August 19th – Lifetime’s Flowers in the Attic with Ellen Burstyn, Kiernan Shipka (Mad Men’s Sally), Mason Dye, Heather Graham and Dylan Bruce (Orphan Black’s Hot Paul) starts filming in West Vancouver.
