  • Saturday, December 21st – 2-week Holiday Hiatus from December 21st to January 5th for most Vancouver productions, returning Monday, January 6th, next year.
  • Friday, December 20th – Almost Human wraps filming of its first season. With seven more episodes to air let’s hope FOX makes a decision to renew in the new year.
  • Friday, December 20th – Hawaii Five-O 4×11 Pukana airs on CBS. Stanley Park inserts from October of Kono (Grace Park) in Seattle with North Vancouver as backdrop and then Vancouver as Vancouver.
  • Friday, December 20th – Arrow films in the SFU Segal Graduate School of Business downtown and then in alley with motorcycles & Arrow (Stephen Amell) and the Black Canary (Caity Lotz) spotted.
  • Friday, December 20th – Hallmark movie In My Dreams with Katherine McPhee and Mike Vogel wraps filming.
  • Friday, December 20th – Broadchurch remake Gracepoint starring David Tennant gets start date of January 20th for filming in Victoria on a BC Production List.
  • Thursday, December 20th – Once Upon a Time wraps for the holiday hiatus.
  • Thursday, December 19th –  Fifty Shades of Grey films big scene of Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) saving Ana (Dakota Johnson) from cyclist with an embrace and a near-kiss in Gastown.
  • Thursday, December 19th – Hooded hero headed to Fan Expo Vancouver next year. Arrow‘s Stephen Amell announced as guest.
  • Wednesday, December 18th – Fifty Shades of Grey films scenes with Washington State University Vancouver (WSUV) cap-and-gown graduates and Ana (Dakota Johnson)a’s stepdad Ray (Callum Keith Rennie) and then of the afterparty where Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) meets Ray filmed in Frederic Wood Theatre at UBC.
  • Wednesday, December 18th – Continuum films Kiera (Rachel Nichols) and Carlos (Victor Webster) walk-and-talk at Dunsmuir & Howe downtown.
  • Wednesday, December 18th – The Tomorrow People films at and around the Patricia Hotel in the Downtown Eastside with Robbie Amell and Mark Pellegrino spotted on set.
  • Wednesday, December 18th – If I Stay with Chloe Moretz and Jamie Blackley wraps filming.
  • Wednesday, December 18th – USA Network pilot Rush with Tom Ellis as renegade doctor wraps filming.
  • Tuesday, December 17th – Fifty Shades of Grey films Ana (Dakota Johnson)’s graduation in the Chan Centre at UBC with 100 to 200 extras. Ana’s best friend Kate (Eloise Mumford) gives the valedictory address and Ana’s “boyfriend” Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan)  gives a speech about ending world hunger.
  • Tuesday, December 17th – Almost Human films at Steveston’s Britannia Heritage Shipyard Park and then has a night shoot at Oceanic Plaza downtown.
  • Tuesday, December 17th – Supernatural films in the Nat Bailey stadium neighbourhood.
  • Tuesday, December 17th – Motive films in Kerrisdale.
  • Tuesday, December 17th – The Tomorrow People cast Graceland star Serinda Swan as the Founder’s daughter. 
  • Tuesday, December 17th – Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters starring Logan Lerman released on DVD, Blue-ray & for download. According to the credits, the making of this film supported 15,000 jobs and hundreds of thousands of work hours. Most of them in B.C.
  • Monday, December 16th – Almost Human 1×06 airs on FOX and Global TV. When Kennex (Karl Urban) and Dorian (Michael Ealy) investigate a strange death at a hospital, they discover a black market for vital organs  and Dorian reconnects with a decommissioned DRN (also Michael Ealy). Kennex’s “ride-along-from-hell” with both DRNs ends in Victory Square where Urban kept cracking up at Ealy’s antics.
  • Monday, December 16th – Fifty Shades of Grey films at the University of British Columbia (UBC) as Washington State University Vancouver (WSUV) First a scene of Ana’s blue VW bug Wanda in the Peter Wall Institute parking lot and then interior scenes in the Lui Institute.
  • Monday, December 16th – Almost Human films in the Downtown Eastside alleys.
  • Monday, December 16th – Motive films at Langara College.
  • Monday, December 16th – TV pilot Rush with Tom Ellis films in the Rosewood Hotel Georgia.
  • Monday, December 16th – Fan Expo Vancouver 2014 announces first guest — Bruce Campbell.
  • Monday, December 16th – Once Upon a Time‘s Winter Finale attracts 6.4 million and a 1.9 in 18-49 demo. Rumple and Pan die. The curse works and Storybrooke is as if never existed. In the final scenes, Hook goes to New York to sees Emma and Henry, who don’t remember him.
