#WhatUpLinden? We’ll get some clues to what happens to Seattle police detective Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos) and her partner Stephen Holder (Joel Kinnaman) when the final adventures of Linden & Holder start filming in Vancouver at the end of February (date subject to change). Netflix saved the show for a final six episodes thanks to a Twitter-campaign-that-could by fans.

Questions for the final season: What happened to Sarah after she shot her lover/boss Lieutenant James Skinner in front of Holder? Does Holder cover for her?  Is she justified? Morally yes. She’d just learned Skinner had been the Pied Piper serial killer of Seattle teens all this time. Legally, well that’s the question.

IF

Whatever Sarah has to face there is a new murder for her and Holder to solve at a boys’ military academy on the outskirts of Seattle and a new antagonist in Margaret O’Neal (Joan Allen) who heads up the school and impedes the investigation. [UPDATE: Among the boys attending the school will be black sheep rich kid Cameron Stanton (Tyler Ross); unstable and deeply troubled Lincoln Knopf (Red Widow’s Sterling Beaumon) and charismatic, over-achiever AJ Fielding (Levi Meaden).

Plus we meet the mother (casting not announced yet)  who abandoned Sarah as a child, now living a middle-class life with a new family.

Filming of The Killing’s final season is expected to start February 24th and wrap May 1st (dates subject to change).
