SEASON PREMIERE: MOTIVE S2 with Kristin Lehman & Louis Ferreira Debuts March 6th on CTV

IF

Vancouver’s own crime drama Motive is set for its season two Canadian premiere on CTV on Thursday, March 6th. The hit procedural-with-a-twist is unusual for two reasons: Vancouver plays itself not somewhere else and Motive is a whydunit not a whodunit. At the top of each episode, we learn who The Killer and The Victim are and then follow along with detectives Angie Flynn (Kristin Lehman) and Oscar Vega (Louis Ferreira) as they solve the murder and uncover the reasons behind it.

Nominated as a Best Drama Series in the Canadian Screen Awards for its first season, Motive co-stars Lauren Holly (NCIS), Brendan Penny and second season addition Warren Christie (Alphas) as new commander Mark Cross, “who shares a mysterious past with Angie”.  Who can we look forward to seeing this season as killers, victims and suspects? — Jennifer Beals, Corbin Bernsen, Martin Donovan, Callum Keith Rennie and Niall Matter.

Thirteen new episodes of Motive will air Thursdays at 10 p.m. on CTV, starting March 6th.
