There’s No Place Like Home. Once Upon a Time filmed its season three finale at the Cannery Cafe in Steveston on Friday night. The scene: #OutlawQueen — Regina (Lana Parrilla) and her new love Robin Hood (Sean Maguire) — stroll down Storybrooke’s Main Street with his chocolate ice cream cone-eating young son Roland (Raphael Alejandro) between them and turn into Granny’s Diner. Roland runs ahead and #OutlawQueen kiss in a long embrace.
Sean Maguire and young actor Raphael Alejandro are so close on set that I asked someone if they are a real-life father-and-son as well as a TV father-and-son. They aren’t. Alejandro kept crew and Maguire busy running wild around the set between takes. He almost got as far as the Storybrooke Public Library at one point before being corralled back and there was a chocolate ice cream mishap during one of the takes. Most adorable kid ever?
