There’s No Place Like Home. Once Upon a Time filmed its season three finale at the Cannery Cafe in Steveston on Friday night. The scene: #OutlawQueen — Regina (Lana Parrilla) and her new love Robin Hood (Sean Maguire) — stroll down Storybrooke’s Main Street with his chocolate ice cream cone-eating young son Roland (Raphael Alejandro) between them and turn into Granny’s Diner. Roland runs ahead and #OutlawQueen kiss in a long embrace.
Sean Maguire and young actor Raphael Alejandro are so close on set that I asked someone if they are a real-life father-and-son as well as a TV father-and-son. They aren’t. Alejandro kept crew and Maguire busy running wild around the set between takes. He almost got as far as the Storybrooke Public Library at one point before being corralled back and there was a chocolate ice cream mishap during one of the takes. Most adorable kid ever?

My heart! My heart! I can’t wait. I love the Outlaw Queen. I’ve only been waiting since last year Quite A Common Fairy episode where Robin is revealed as her true love; FINALLY!!!!
Plenty of photos out there now. Better quality than mine. Lots of fans with DSLRs photographed scene but I’m happy to have captured what I did and even happier to have been there. Didn’t expect to see something so lovely. Expected a Wicked showdown or a new curse, not this.

Please don’t let this be red herring like that captain swan hug in the 3b premiere. I can’t believe how quickly I’ve gone from liking the idea of Outlaw Queen to full on fangirl mode.

Didn’t take any photos of the kiss. They didn’t rehearse the kiss. And the convention with OUAT in Steveston is those who are watching can take photos of rehearsals and general views of the set but not during filming. We were lucky they chose to make the scene so open because they could have completely screened it like the later CaptainSwan one.
You sure this isn’t a red herring? I saw more pics from the finale and I just want to make sure I’m right and happiness is happening for Regina and Robin.

When I saw these pics, I could have soared through the roof with happiness. I am so ready for Regina to find happiness and these pics show a happy family. And I have been shipping OutlawQueen since this season’s epi, Quite a Common Fairy.
Regina is overdue for a happy ending. Am sure there will be many obstacles to overcome in this season and the next as with Snow & Charming or Rumbelle but she needs to know it’s possible for her.
