Intruders. Don’t Let Them In. The eight-part BBC America series produced by Glen Morgan is about a secret society whose members aim to live forever by hijacking other people’s bodies, based on the 2007 Michael Marshall novel of the same name. Cop-turned-writer Jack Whelan (John Simm) leaves Los Angeles for the Pacific Northwest in a bid to escape a dark past, but his sins comes back to haunt him when his wife Amy (Mira Sorvino who plays two characters in one body) goes missing. Do the Intruders have her? Yes they do. Complicating matters is Richard Shepherd (James Frain) — “a murderer on a 20-year secret mission who claims to be an FBI agent.”
Remember the Seattle St. Patrick’s Day 10K Run banner on the Granville pedestrian overpass which confused all the tourists? And John Simm sitting in a beater car for hours on end below it. The trailer has a brief clip of what he was looking at: a man on the overpass.
