On Friday, iZombie filmed at its regular Downtown Eastside location Meat Cute Butchers (Big Lou’s Butcher Shop)– where zombies buys BRAAAINS. Former medical resident-turned-zombie Olivia “Liv” Moore (Once Upon a Time’s Rose McIver) struggles to find a way feed without killing people. The now white-haired, white-faced 25-year-old breaks her engagement to Major Lilywhite (Robert Buckley) and takes a job at the Seattle Coroner’s office where she eats the BRAAAINS of murder victims, gains their memories and assists medical examiner Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti (Rahul Kohli) and Seattle homicide detective Clive Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) to solve their deaths.
On Sunday, iZombie introduces itself to the Television Critics Association press tour in a presentation and Q&A with cast Rose McIver, Malcolm Goodwin, Rahul Kohli, Robert Buckley and David Anders and show runners Rob Thomas (Veronica Mars) and Diane Ruggiero-Wright.
