The Revenant with even hairier humans? Ice Age survival tale The Solutrean is expected to film in British Columbia this spring. Set 20,000 years ago in the Upper Paleotithic period of early man, The Solutrean is about a hunting expedition gone wrong and the survivor’s journey home in tough conditions. Albert Hughes will direct based on a script by Dan Wiedenhaup, The Solutrean is expected to film here from February 22nd to May 6th next year (dates subject to change) according to the DGC-BC production list.
