Update: In a shocking murder-suicide twist, Norman joins a heartbroken Norma in bed and sings Mr. Sandman to get her to sleep. Afterwards he gases the house, intending they both should die. Romero arrives at the house and races upstairs to save Norma. He appears to be too late but Norman survives.
In the episode Forever, Norma (Vera Farminga) tries to reconnect with her disturbed son Norman (Freddie Highmore) tonight after his long stay in the Pineview Institute. But Norman is intent on getting rid of Norma’s new husband Alex Romero (Nestor Carbonell) and having Mother all to himself again.
Romero and Norma’s eldest son Dylan (Max Theiriot) meet to talk about how best to convince Norma how dangerous Norman is. Production shot this meeting in March at Troll’s in Horseshoe Bay in long takes. Just ask the backgrounders who worked it.
