Urban dancer Bella Parker (Nicole Munoz) has a chance to join The American Ballet Company but must compete for a spot with classically-trained ballet dancers at a dance camp run by its director Jonathan Reeves (Peter Gallagher). Bella, who’s told over and over that she’ll never be a professional dancer, sits out the final dance only to be pulled into it by her friends, breaking all the rules.
