Revised and updated: Zach Peladeau not Greg Sulkin is the male lead in Drink Slay Love. And Sulkin is now the ex-boyfriend of the Lifetime movie’s co-executive producer Bella Thorne.
A new teen vampire saga starts filming in Vernon this week with American social media stars in front of and behind the camera.. Drink Slay Love is about 16-year-old snarky vampire Pearl Sange (Cierra Ramirez) who’s stabbed through the heart by a unicorn one night. Post-stabbing she can tolerate sunlight, so her mother enrols her in high school where she can find the humans the family needs to supply blood to the visiting Vampire King at the Fealty Ceremony the family is hosting.
Social media star Bella Thorne, who came out as bi-sexual this week and has over 19 million social media followers, is one of the executive producers.

Vanessa Parrise is directing the adaption of the Sarah Beth Hurst novel based on a script by Eirene Donohoue. Vancouver’s Sepia Films and Los Angeles’s Just Singer Entertainment are producing.
Drink Slay Love starts shooting this week in the North Okanagan and is expected to wrap September 11th (dates subject to change).
Drink Slay Love will premiere on Lifetime and A&E in early 2017.
