Netflix’s Stephen King adaption 1922 has started filming in metro Vancouver. What’s it about? In an Omaha, Nebraska, hotel room, unreliable narrator Wilfred James (Thomas Jane) writes a confession about how he decided to kill his wife Arlette (Molly Parker) and enlist the help of their teen son Henry to do it. Why? Because she wanted leave his family farm and planned to fund her move to Omaha by selling her family’s adjoining property which would have made his unfarmable. James tells us he buried her body but was terrorized by rats afterwards. Did his wife haunt him? Or is he delusional?
