Casey Affleck is filming his next movie in British Columbia this Winter. Taking time out from his awards season campaigning, Affleck is expected to start shooting survival drama Light of My Life in Osoyoos next month. Production then moves to Vancouver Island. And finally Vancouver. The Manchester By the Sea star wrote the script and will direct and co-star in the film about a father and his young daughter (Anna (Priowsky) hunted in a post-pandemic world.
Already this awards season, Affleck has won the Critics’ Choice Award and a Golden Globe for his Manchester By the Sea performance plus a SAG awards nomination, with an Oscar nomination likely to come. Update: Affleck nominated for an Oscar for his lead performance in Manchester By the Sea.
