Update: This was the last shoot at the gothic house. Started tearing it down today.
Bates Motel filmed its last shoot at its iconic house and motel set in Aldergrove yesterday. It’s been a local attraction for five seasons now with thousands of people stopping to take photos and at least one engaged couple enquiring if they could get married at the set.
Enjoy its final days. The house set is scheduled to be torn down and the site turned into a park.
Bates Motel crew filmed at the house’s foyer last night. It was too dark to see who was there. Norman? Norman as Mother? Dylan? With flashing police and sheriff cars below.
