The story won’t be about trying to stop it. showrunner Jason Rothenberg has said. “Because it’s not stoppable, it becomes how do we survive? There aren’t enough life boats. The Earth is the ark.”

Clarke (Eliza Tayler), who lost her love Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) twice, will own her power as leader of the Sky People.
How will Bellamy (Bob Morley) react to the end of the world?
Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos), who killed the man who executed her lover Lincoln (Ricky Whittle), will go even darker, becoming an assassin.
Raven (Lindsey Morgan) will be a stronger Raven 2.0 version of herself after the A.L.L.I.E upgrade.
Roan (Zach McGowan), King of the Ice Nation, joins the series regulars this season.
