The Predator has turned Templeton Senior Secondary in east Vancouver into Lawrence A. Gordon Middle School in Macon-Bibb county, Georgia, for filming over the March break.

Shane Black (Iron Man 3) co-wrote and is directing the new installment that gets back to the roots of the franchise. He should know how it all began. He had a role in the first one with Arnold Schwarzenegger. The new Predator moves from the South American jungle to rural America. Boyd Holbrook (Logan/Wolverine 3 villain) is the new Schwarzenegger as an ex-marine. Local sensation Jacob Tremblay plays Holbrook’s autistic son, who’s a savant with languages.

Holbrook’s character encounters alien predators but no one believes him, apparently.
