SEASON 11: THE X-FILES Fox Mulder & Dana Scully (David Duchovny & Gillian Anderson)’s Chemistry

Why is The X-Files successful…David and Gillian’s chemistry is ridiculous — Mitch Pileggi.

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are the iconic FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, who after nine seasons, two movies and an extended break returned to our screens in 2016 with a 6-episode event series. The X-Files came back this year to film a new 10-episode event series, which wraps production this week in Vancouver and launches January 3rd on FOX.

What has changed in their relationship over 25 years?

We’re both falling apart physically and it’s evident on a daily basis [laughs]….whereas maybe I try and hide that on other projects…. I can talk about it quite openly with David who’s also falling apart. — Gillian Anderson tells TV Guide.

A new extended trailer takes us behind the scenes.

Banter:

How do you operate so well with your hands cuffed behind your back? — Dana Scully to Fox Mulder.

As if you didn’t know.. — Mulder to Scully.
There’s still some scoot in your boot — Mulder to Scully.

No Sugar Sherlock. — Mulder to Scully.

Will there be more than banter? Is that really Mulder and Scully spooning in bed?

Fox Mulder:

Do you know who I am? I’m Fox freakin’ Mulder you punks.

That was Fox Mulder in car chase filmed on Vancouver’s Georgia Viaduct for season 11 premiere.

And skulking around and peering in the window at Cecil Green House.

And squatching in a Darin Morgan episode.

Mulder I’ve been trying your cell all day. — Dana Scully.

I’ve been out squatching. Big Foot hunting. Had my phone turned off.  — Fox Mulder.

Dana Scully.

Scully has her own desk this season.

Scully’s driving again. Uh-oh.
