Vancouver’s own Jacob Tremblay is going R-rated in the Superbad-style comedy Good Boys which starts filming today.

Filming dates: July 23rd to September 11th.

Cast: Jacob Tremblay, Midori Francis, Keith L. Williams, Brady Noon, Molly Gordon.

It’s a coming-of-age story with Tremblay as the leader of a gang of 12-year-old boys who skip school for a day of really bad decisions and comic exploits.

Good Boys is produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver who brought us Sausage Party, Superbad and Blockers with a $15 – 20 million budget.

 And written and directed by Lee Eisenberg & Gene Stupnitsky of The Office and Bad Teacher fame.

Jacob Tremblay is the young star of Room and Wonder and upcoming big-budget The Predator.
