Papa Winchester aka Jeffrey Dean Morgan returns for a long-awaited family reunion in Supernatural’s 300th episode, Lebanon.

Dean gets a wish and an altered reality. Sam & Dean are expecting something else but deep down this is what Dean really wants — their Dad back in their lives.
Surprise, it’s Dad back from the dead. And he’s carrying a rifle.
Sam & Dean catch up their Dad on what he’s missed over a bottle of whisky. Suddenly Mary rounds the corner and John sees the wife whose death he spent years avenging.
Mary and John reunite.
Dad and Sammy heal old wounds and Sam finally gets some closure.
It’s an altered reality Dean doesn’t want to end but he knows it has to.
Does John Winchester reunite with his Impala, too?

The 300th episode also introduces us to the town of Lebanon: the site of the Men of Letters bunker, which houses many artifacts and where Sam & Dean Winchester have made a home for several seasons.

Supernatural filmed for several days & nights in December on south Burnaby’s Backlot town set (built for the Watchmen movie) as Lebanon, Kansas.
Supernatural shot there until 3 a.m. one night.

Dean’s wish brings an altered reality with a different version of Castiel (Misha Collins) and the return of Zachariah (Kurt Fuller), too.
Shooting of the 300th began on December 5th and wrapped December 15th last year.

The CW made Supernatural’s 300th episode a cornerstone of its Fall Upfront to advertisers in New York City last May.
