How bad is Gotham City?
A red carpet Gotham City gala will take place behind a barbed wire fence later this week to keep out the shanty town around it.

Through the security gates we’ll see a red carpet gala with red ropes.
Odds are we’ll see a crimson crusader on the roof, too.

We met Kate Kane/Batwoman atop a Chicago tower last December in the Arrowverse crossover Elseworlds.
Now we get her origin story in a big CW pilot filming in Vancouver.
Films: March 4th to 25th (with some limited exteriors in Chicago).
Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence. But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.

Kate Kane aka Batwoman is Bruce Wayne’s cousin and head of Wayne Enterprises (Batman has been missing for 3 years).
Dougray Scott is her father Jacob Kane who runs Gotham City’s private security firm The Crows and as a former military colonel has nothing but disdain for vigilantes like Batman and this new caped crusader Batwoman. This puts him at odds with his own daughter.

Rachel Skarsten (Reign) is villain Alice, leader of the Wonderland Gang ,named after Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. She makes it her mission to undermine Gotham City’s sense of security.
Meagan Tandy (Teen Wolf) is private security agent Sophie Moore, one of Gotham City’s staunchest protectors.
Camrus Johnson (Luke Cage) is Luke Fox, son of Wayne Enterprises’ R&D director Lucius Fox.
Elizabeth Anweis is Kate Kane’s step-mother Catherine Hamilton-Kane.
Nicole Kang (You) is Kate Kane’s step sister Mary Hamilton.
