Romcom Always Be My Maybe with Ali Wong and Fresh Off the Boat’s Randall Park is set to stream on Netflix on May 31st.

Two childhood sweethearts in vastly different socioeconomic situations reconnect as adults.

Sasha (Ali Wong) is a celebrity chef who returns to San Francisco to open an restaurant while Marcus (Randall Park) is a musician who lives at home and works for his Dad.

Cast: Ali Wong, Randall Park, Keanu Reeves, Daniel Dae Kim, Vivian Bang, Susan Park, Karen Soni, Charlyne Yi, Michelle Buteau, James Saito and Lyrics Born.

Written by Randall Park, Ali Wong and Michael Golamco and directed by Fresh Off The Boat showrunner Nahnatchka Khan.

The movie split production between Vancouver and San Francisco.

Filmed in Vancouver last year from late May to early July.

And was spotted filming in the Biltmore Cabaret, Glowbal Restaurant in downtown Vancouver’s Telus Garden and a gallery at Lonsdale Quay.
