ABC previewed its Portland private investigator series Stumptown starring Cobie Smulders at the Upfronts in New York City today.

Based on the graphic novel series, Stumptown follows Dex Parios (Cobie Smulders) as a strong, assertive, and sharp-witted army veteran with a complicated love life, gambling debt, and a brother to take care of in Portland, Oregon. Her military intelligence skills make her a great P.I., but her unapologetic style puts her in the firing line of hardcore criminals and not quite in alliance with the police.
I’m going to have to check for a wire. Well then, it’s a good thing I wore my second-best bra.

Cobie Smulders is best known from The Avengers franchise and How I Met Your Mother series.
