Beverly Hills 90210 castmates reunited on stage at the Fox Upfront in New York City to preview their summer series BH90210.

The new series is filming in Vancouver.

Luke Perry had planned to do as many episodes of the BH90210 reunion as he could given his schedule on Riverdale, but his unexpected death changes that.

A serialized drama – with a dose of irreverence — inspired by the sextet’s real lives and relationships, in which Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green, Tori Spelling and Shannen Doherty will play heightened versions of themselves. In the new series, having gone their separate ways since the original series ended 19 years ago, Jason, Jennie, Ian, Gabrielle, Brian, Tori and Shannen reunite when one of them suggests it’s time to get a Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot up and running. But getting it going may make for an even more delicious soap than the reboot itself. What will happen when first loves, old romances, friends and frenemies come back together, as this iconic cast – whom the whole world watched grow up together – attempts to continue from where they left off?

BH90210 premieres Wednesday, August 7th, at 9 p.m. on Fox.
