Jason Momoa at last week’s premiere of Apple TV+’s See series in Los Angeles.
See — about a far-off future when humanity has lost the sense of sight — is one of the most expensive series to ever film in British Columbia, with a rumoured price tag of $15 million an episode.
The first three episodes of the series will be among the shows available tomorrow, November 1st, when the Apple TV+ service launches. The rest will stream weekly on Fridays.
Episode 1 – Godflame: A journey of survival begins when an army of Witchfinders attacks the village of Alkenny.
Episode 2 – Message in a Bottle: A special gift for the twins sparks tension in the group.
Episode 3 – Fresh Blood: The twins struggle to keep a secret from their mother.
See takes place 600 years in the future, after those who survived a virus that decimated humankind emerged blind and had to find new ways to interact, to build, to hunt, to survive. Jason Momoa stars as warrior Baba Voss, whose new wife gives birth to twins born with the mythic ability to see. He must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who believes it’s witchcraft and wants them destroyed.
