SUSPENDED: Production on RIVERDALE in Vancouver Suspended For Rest of The Week Because of Corona Virus Concerns

Update: The “team member” may be a key cast member, according to a union briefing.

Riverdale has suspended production of season 4 in Vancouver for the rest of the week after learning that a person on the show was recently in contact with someone who has Covid-19.

Producer Warner Bros. TV said the “team member” was receiving a medical evaluation.

We are working closely with the appropriate authorities and health agencies in Vancouver to identify and contact all individuals who may have come into direct contact with our team member. The health and safety of our employees, casts and crews is always our top priority. We have and will continue to take precautions to protect everyone who works on our productions around the world. Out of an abundance of caution, production on Riverdale is currently suspended. — Warner Bros. TV statement.

Cast: KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Madelaine Petsch, Vanessa Morgan, Casey Cott, Mädchen Amick, Marisol Nichols, Mark Consuelos and Skeet Ulrich.

Riverdale wrapped up its Does-Jughead-Die? storyline on screen tonight with the not-dead Jughead readmitted to Riverdale High.

And the Core Four — Archie, Betty, Jughead, Veronica — back in Pop’s.

Riverdale was on location in Vancouver near Queen Elizabeth Park yesterday filming one of its final episodes for the season.

Riverdale season 4 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW.
